Hi everyone! It’s a bit belated but Happy New Year! It’s been a great 2014 for us and we are so grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to work with our lovely clients and share our work with you! Thank you for the support and here’s to an even better 2015!
We thought we would kick off the blog in 2015 with Johanna and Nathan’s wedding which I travelled to Geelong to cover! I first met Johanna in 2013, she was visiting from Germany, in Perth on a working visa and planned on travelling around our beautiful country as well. After six months of saving up hard earned money, she took off in a campervan she had bought only a week before leaving and we said our goodbyes, convinced she was headed back to Germany at the end of the year when her visa expired.
Things have a funny way of working out, on her travels in northern Western Australia, she met Nathan in Hedland. And the rest, as they say, is history.
We travelled to Geelong (Victoria) where Nathan grew up and where most of his family now lives and had a great day celebrating their first day as husband and wife! So here’s my take on their first day of their new lives together…
One of the highlights of the day would had to have been Nathan’s nieces and nephew, aren’t they just adorable?
We then headed out for some bridal party shots around Geelong…
Then it was time to paaaaaarty on at the reception!
Johanna and Nathan chose the Little Chapel on Ryrie to host their reception, which is an old Church converted into a café. I loved the rafters up above!
Was a truly lovely day to be with friends and make new ones as well. Johanna and Nathan, thanks for choosing me to cover your wedding day. Wishing you a marriage filled with much love, joy and God’s abundant grace.
